      An 'ie lavalava, commonly known as simply a lavalava, is like the superhero cape of a Samoan Superman. It's a colorful and flexible magical cloth. You can tie it around your waist. It can easily change into a picnic blanket, headscarf, or window curtain. The swiss army knife of fashion for all Pacific Islanders. 🌺🏝️

      We make our lavalavas, also known as a sarong or pareo, from carefully chosen fabric. These are not pre-sewn, bulk ordered from a manufacturer. We cut, sew, and make them to order with lots of love in our lavalava factory right here in the Pacific Northwest.
